It was a subgroup of a subgroup of Hamas.....Army of Islam is a subgroup of Dagmoush according to the media, but I don't buy Hamas as the good guys and politically valiant now. I have a really hard time believing that Hamas leadership was not involved, especially since the same faction is connected to the kiddnapping of Gilad Shalit more than a year ago and Hamas isn't pressuring them to hand him over even though he was part of the peace deal that was forgotten and never instituted. It seems like a media spindoctoring for political purposes.

The Dagmoush clan has criminal connections and is wanted on charges for murder of Hamas members.
