this thing was weird my first time i got a virus but this is what happened avg said you have a trojan horse would you like
to delete or quarantine it and as this happened there are pop ups sayin you have a virus install this program to remove it
and me being dumb i clicked on it and my avg went up again
saying another trojan was found and more pop ups were
there and i closed them and another trojan poped up so after
10 mins of this **** i deleted them and restarted my pc and everything was fine do you think in that time with the pop ups
avg made sure nothing malacious was going on like remote
communication or would avg autimatically disable such actions once it discovered the virus , also the only way i could
have got it was p2p cuz im smart about e mail attachments.

AVG does that sometimes when you attempt to access an infected archive file (ZIP, ARG, RAR) or folder where multiple infected files exist. It is a pain sometimes, but as long as you say quarantine or delete the file, it's okay. Even if you don't do that initially, AVG will catch it again anyway. It's doing its job fine. It will pick up trojans like that in your temp internet files. The files contain trojans... it doesn't mean that your system is infected with it, but it could become infected if action isn't taken quickly. You could cancel the popup AVG windows and just do a good scan on the folder it says has the infected files. That's what I do. Switch folder quickly so AVG stops checking the files in it, and then do a scan. Hope this helped you.

Trojan Horse is a variation from a computer virus, in fact, different category of malware.

A Tro Ho can not infect anywhere else but it operates only as part of a certain program, in fact this name came from the famous legend of Trojan Horse gift, when a wooden statue was offered to the Trojan ruler as a gift but it contained invading commandos. Likewise, a Tro Ho is a small entertaining program that contained malware programming code.

Deletion or quarantine the program having a Tro Ho is your only choices.

Don't fix nothing that is not broke as the saying go's, If its working good now let it be, one program that i would suggest to download is Spybot Search and Destroy, its frr and finds all the nasty trogens that some antivirus programs do not along with free adaware.
