On my dynasty, I have tried to get a player by trading my draft pick. I tried to get Luke Walton, but everytime I tried it, the other team will say "Not interested in trading draft pick at this time". What is it's problem?

A lot of it depends on when you're trying to trade that pick, I believe. Think of it as a real NBA GM would. You wont trade for a draft pick right after an NBA draft, but a trade deadline deal would be great. It could be that the Lakers just don't want another draft pick.

I've played NBA Live alot and it's near impossible to trade for a draft pick. I think I've done it once in about 30 attempts. I don't even bother trying to trade for draft picks anymore. Now I just wait untill the draft is over and then trade for whatever rookie I want. I've done alot of different trade types to try and get a draft pick and nothing seems to work. I've thrown out ridiculous deals that would give the other team my star player and the computer still wouldn't bite. I don't know what the secret is, but if you find out then let me know.

Maybe the computer is not interested because of your current positoning in the draft. To get Walton you should also bait another player that can work for the Lakers also (depends if Luke is still in the Lakers on your dynasty mode) plus your draft pick.

It means they aren't interested in trading your draft pick. Don't worry, a lot of people don't speak English as their first language.

Maybe if you weren't trying to trade for an overpaid scrub like Luke Walton the other team would take your pick. I would take a seventh-rounder for Luke Walton if he was on my team, maybe Isiah Thomas is playing against you. And yes, I am well aware there is no seventh round. That's how good Luke Walton is.

Ok i got it homeslices.

Ok play a dynasty. And then play 1 season and then the cpu will do some by itself. then u check transactions and be the team that gave up a player.

Ex: i know for sure 80% this works. Smush Parker for 1st round pick memphis. Works most of the time. and in nba live 06 the cpu always does kirk hinrich for d wade? it always happens when jason williams is a pg lol.!!!

that means it dosen't want a draft pick. Try trading a bad player with the pick and if that dosen't work than you probably have to trade player for player.
