I think by saying 'belonging', makes the wife a possession which isn't right. Though, I do believe that only a husband should be intimate with his wife and no other man.

No. Last time I check the wife was in her own body and the husband was in his. Her body may be for his eyes only, but that doesn't make her his property

In what terms of "belonging" are you talking about exactly. A wife body should belong to her husband intimately AND vice versa, but for everything else, no.

Absolutely not! A woman is not a piece of property. My husband treats me as if he owns my body which I find quite degrading. We may be married but by all means he does not own me.

umm... NO! everone owns their own body! i mean i fu wanna keep on think that a wifes body belongs to her husband then i guess u can be incharge of cleaning, dressing, and u i dont know changing her pads or tampons too!!

Abusive husbands feel perfectly entitled to beat on their wives cause of the sense ownership. A woman is not to be owned - she is not property. Neither is her body.
