We are officially "delaying". Just how long we will delay, is another question!

I am positive that he will not recieve at least a few of the vaccines, but i am researching some of the others still.

My best advice is to stop until you can do your own research and feel comfortable with your choice. You can always give them later, but you can't take them back.

Are you nursing? That may play a role in your choice... as a formula fed infant is more likely to catch certain illnesses (namely HIB and Step Pnom) I would start with those and go from there, researching every illness we vaccinate for and learn everything you can.

It's something every parent should do whether they vaccinate or not.

It is absolutely necessary to keep up to date with the shots. My son had his first round at 2 months old, his 2nd hepatitis B shot on Monday and he will be receiving the next 4 shots in August. It is required that children have all their shots before entering school.

It really is the only way to go. The postives far outweigh any negatives. My daughter has had all her immunizations and I will continue to keep them up to date. I think you are very smart to get it done. It is for the safety of your child and for the safety of all the children in schools and daycares. It is alwasy sad to see your little one get a shot, but it is so much better for him in the long run.

Why would you even consider not doing it. The child and infant immunizations have been around for years and have been tested. There's diseases out there that you may never have even heard of because children have avoided them by being treated before the problem arises. It would be wrong of you not to consider protecting your child!

Well, it depends on the type of parent you are- I don't mind childhood immunizations they protect children against diseases that are making a comeback.. I feel that they are necessary and keep children safe. For parents that don't immunize their children... Do they also buy organic meats and vegatables? Since that's also been linked to certain cancers? It's tough to say...

Immunizations are important. If they weren't around, we would still be having outbreaks of thinks such as the measles and mumps. Why would you take a chance of you child getting one of these preventable diseases??

both of my kids are up to date on shots
you can't get them into a school with out current imunization records
it's healthier to get them, then not to get them and ur child come down with some sever illness
my kids even got the shots so they wouldnt get chicken pox, if they did get them they wouldnt get them sever like most kids do and mine are now 9 and 7 and they've never had chicken pox yet
