Jim Brown easily. Doesnt even need a good line. The only thing that would kill the players from the past would be speed, players are so much quicker today. Linemen are so much bigger as well. Earl Campbell may do fairly well if he was in his prime. Butkus and Nitschke possibly but then there is the question of speed.

Most of the QB's would love playing by today's rules--remember--today u can't touch a receiver after he is past 5 yards beyond the line of scrimmage. In THEIR day, DB's could smack guys until the ball was in the air. Big difference.

Jim Brown...He is the single greatest football player in the history of the game....Its not debatable....Every single ESPN, Fox Sports etc etc show has him rated as the best football player ever.
