two words... high maintenance.

those who are easy to love, are that way because they make me want to love them.. they are kind, generous, generally of good humor, sincere... ah well, read 'desiderata'. it's irresistible. you can't help but to love them... and think fondly of good old ____ (and your heart gets all warm.)

but those who need the love the most sometimes need it because they expend so much energy pushing people away. while it's human nature to want to help, the barriers sometimes become so tall and sturdy that trying becomes an exercise in futility. ah, just listen to 'outside the wall' by pink floyd. you can't love someone who only wants your attention.

ironic, isn't it? the plant that 'needs' the water is usually the driest! :)

No...I do not think so...

As a matter of fact, those who need love the most sound always like DEMANDING to a certain extent, which could be the reason behind them being regarded as THE MOST DIFFICULT ONES TO LOVE and / or TO BE LOVED......

Once a person receives the amount of LOVE that overwhemes him or her to the extent that he or she actually feels like living within a field of love around WILL SURELY REFLECT THAT KIND OF ATMOSPHERE WITH HIS OR HER ATTITUDE & DEEDS TOWARDS THE ONES AROUND HIM / HER, AND FURTHER COULD BE EXTENDED TO DEMONSTRATE THAT POWER OF LOVE TO THE OUTSIDERS / STRANGERS AS WELL.

In general, those who need love the most are people with extra sensitivity with feelings, and it is up to those who are around to ensure they realize that kind of a need those people strive for...

In ordinary situations, they should sound like the above said, but in situations where they do not demonstrate that love back, then it will be a need for assessing the circumstances that have lead to this kind of an attitude.

Anyways....

Hope this is convenient enough, but DOES IT ASSIST AT ALL...lol

Take care, and a very pleasant day/night 2u dear.

J.J. Rousseau is the authority on this issue. Comparatively, my ideas on the topic look like a ninety-nine cent ashtray beside the "Krater of Antaeus" by Euphronios, at Le Louvre.

Allowing oneself love necessarily brings pride into consideration. All of civilization may hang on this thread.

I don't think so.
There are some persons , i think of children in particular , who suffer from disabilities , either physical or slight mental ones .
These children or young adults know that they are different and may think that they can be rejected or mocked by what we can call " normal " people.
They must feel very insecure .
They need " love the most " and it's NOT difficult to love them , to give them what they want and most important what they need.

Nice question again Kimberley.Thank you.

Where have you BEEN? Welcome back! No, I don't think so. If you had said "needy" that would be quite different. We call "needy" people sticky people--they attach themselves like glue. A person who needs love can be quite lovable. I did say, "can" be. Perhaps I'm thinking more of "wanting" love, which most people do. So, on second thought, I feel a little uncomfortable about the word "need."

Sometimes, sometimes not...but then again, I'm a person who loves easily. I think anyone can be loved, and everyone needs love 'the most', regardless of if they are easy to love or not. Really, I mean, who doesn't need love? I don't think any one person needs more love than someone else.

The question here is a dilemma between the usage of the word 'love' as a noun and a verb. Where there is pure 'love', the noun, everything else ceases to exist. There is no room for 'to love'.

Absolutely... the ones who lash out in bitterness/hate/anger are the ones hurting the most inside therefore need to be shown love and patience the most. difficult but deserving! :)

Anyone who perceives a need is going to experience despair and desperation. I need air. if I don't have air, then I will experience panic and anxiety at its absence. When love is perceived as a need, it too will create a sense of despair and desperation.

People in despair and people acting out of desperation are just difficult to be around.

I think so. Why would then need love more than everyone else if they were as easy to love as everyone else? If they were easy to love they would have all the love they need. They need it because they are a bigger challenge
