Goop off wetted with a paper towel. Also, WD-40 works wonders on things like this. But, test on a small area first.

Ultimate solution, repaint or at least over the marks and ban crayons from your house. Buy your kids some dry markers. They wash off with the slightest bit of water.

Damp a cotton ball in dry-cleaning fluid (mixture of petroleum hydrocarbons. It's a solvent and also known as white spirits or Murlex) and wipe over the mark. Then brush the mark gently with a soft brush. Blot the rest with a clean cloth. Always work from the outside to the inside of the mark.

Try Huggies Baby wipes - I have a close friend who swears they take crayons off walls.

Baby wipes and might be worth getting an area for them to draw on when they feel so inclined again such as a blackboard and chalks or just cheap lining paper on those artist stands you can get for children
