The answer is "Bill Clinton did worse".

Can we ever have a discussion about the current political situation without this constant comparison? I agree, Bill Clinton was a crook in many ways and deserved to be punished worse than he was. But what does that have to do with George Bush and what he is doing to this country?

Yes, they use other peoples sin's to justify theirs. Isn't that funny, considering they always claim to hold the moral high ground?

I don't know. I seldom answer questions that obviously criticize Bush. For example some thing like "Why is Bush such a crook?". I think it's probably questions like that bring out the retorts about Clinton. I don't like Bush anymore, but still hate to see the board filled with such questions because I think they are ignorant. I like to see some decent discussion but people on both sides will still insult the one who is asking the question like it's a habit they can't quit. Some people are really playing innocent with this question.

Because politics is about slinging mud. Liberals throw unsupported accusations and conservatives throw back facts about the liberals hero not being that great. Can't have a debate about facts. The liberals will just change the subject and yell louder trying to win their point. Watch any political debate on TV.

What's Bush doing to this country? Showing the liberal owned media that they don't run this country. The media only show blood and guts in Iraq. What about the good we are doing there building schools, hospitals, etc. Facts that they don't want publicized because it would support our actions over there.

This could go on and on. But, that's enough for the Bush bashers to get started on. Throw your mud. Surprise me and use some facts.

Just what exactly is George Bush doing to this country? What I see is a media and a bunch of Politicians who have worked up their base into a lather to scream about everything this President does. It is reminiscent of the way the Nazi's portrayed the Jews in Germany. I was the first one to Criticize this president over the amnesty bill and I wrote him numerous times. People need to get their blinders off before it is too late.

Many people assume that if you don't like Bush, then you HAD to have LOVED Clinton. I wish this wasn't so. But I guess it's the kind of black-and-white thinking and partisan politics played by those people in order to organize and understand people in their minds.

"But, when Clinton was in office.....................".
"Where is your evidence?" Lord knows his supporters don't want to even bother looking it up for themselves.
"Support your President, he is our leader".
"You should be shot for treason".
"You don't support our troops."
"Those who criticize our President are UN-PATRIOTIC".
"So your candidate lost, GET OVER IT!"
"You libs hate America".
"Hey Libs, is Canada looking better everyday?" Wanting all of us LIBS to move there.
"How many of you Libs have burned a flag today?"
"Why do Libs support terrorists?"

I have heard it all, the stereotyping, the abuse because we have different opinions of things and have done the history on this President, the accusations. I never went for Clintons lies or pardons either, I didn't approve of him doing his sex thing with another woman other than his wife. I was Republican back then, with all the Bush crimes and me being tired of how this war is being run and his illegal ways he got the U.S. in this Iraq mess and the much illegal activity with many other members of his administration, I got tired of him as well. I can now say I am no longer a Republican voter right now. The Republicans in Congress, except for two so far, have continued to stand by this President instead of standing up to him. It makes that party look weak and he just embarrasses the hell out of everyone. I seek justice and accountability. I do not hate our troops, I want them to come home safely, I want this war to end, I do not side with the terrorists, etc. The list goes on. But I am usually blamed for doing so and that I am the traitor for wanting to make sure all my rights stay intact and that they are not trampled on anymore, as well as the rights of others under the laws of the Constitution.

I have problems with things that Bush has done, but if given the same decisions in 2000 and 2004 and knowing what I know now. I would still vote for him over who the Democrats offered. As far as comparing him with Clinton, why do dems want to ignore the actions of this man?
