Multiply the bottom equation by -2.5 and add:

-5x + 7y = -40
+ (5x -10y)= 40
--------------------------
-3y = 0

So Y=0

Plug y=0 into the first equation and solve:

-5x=-40
x=-40/-5
x=8

Now plug y=0 and x=8 into the second answer to confirm.

-2(8)=-16
-16=-16

Your answer is (8,0).

-10x+14y=-80
