Would it be weird to take my 29 year old daughter? I do not want to go alone and i am not into the dating scene. Do people do this?

If she is willing to go take her and introduce her with pride as your daughter and how proud you are of what she has accomplished. The best thing that you have done since High School has been this precious angel and let everyone know that
