Las Vegas's annual Red, WHITE, and BOOM concert has been canceled this year...does ANYONE know why?

Haven't heard officially, but they're only having fireworks at parks with pools so it's probably because of a very high fire hazard right now. In fact, did you notice the fire out at Red Rock Canyon this morning?
Enjoy your Fourth, but be careful - it's supposed to be 115° tomorrow.

On the news they said it was cost and personnel problems.
I went last year and it was so fun and I loved the food. This stinks.
