what is the deal with this? its an average comedy with an average storyline and robin williams doing the same tired old jokes he's done for years. why is it being talked about in every show on every channel?

it looks like a half a** comedy and its way over promoted. i have gone to the movies five times in the past month and every time i saw the stupid preview. im totally o your side.

It is competing with the Transformers and the week before Harry Potter. They need the trailer to get a good start this week.

because all the critics who were wowed by him back in his heyday can't face the sad fact that everyone (including them) gets old and loses touch with what is truly artistic and funny. they're covering themselves. they go home and rather than watch the office or the simpsons or south park, they throw on a mel brooks or monty python dvd. i'm not hating, i'm just saying. comedy evolves. some people refuse to understand that.

the movie is probably very lousy and they wish to make a fast buck to pay his over inflated ego off with is why.

Dunno... but I think he's sorta funny. Even though I loved him best in that thriller "Insomnia" with Pacino.
