Who thinks Bonds is not deserving the respect he should get?

Hes really close to breakin the home run record.. and it seems to be getting worst everytime he hits a homer in the EAST.. Bonds derserves respect, its not everyday you see people hit 700+ HRs

I agree. I am in the East as well. He does deserve respect, I agree.

I mean guys like Lance Armstrong, Michael Jordan, Barry Bonds, Wayne Gretzky, Ronaldo, Jerry Rice...It's not everyday you see greatness like that. I don't even like all the guys I mentioned but I respect every last one of them.

Too many people are ready to jump on the bandwagon when it comes to these steroid allegations.

AFAIK, Bonds has never failed a drug test.

Long before steroids were being used in the U.S., I saw firsthand that there are some guys who bulk up very quickly and can become enormous when working out. Just by eating well and weight training to failure (using heavy weight and doing reps until you can't do any more).

I always belive "innoccent until proving guilty", we can not ignore a man's effort in baseball just because he is "suspected" of steriod use. People jump to conclusions/accusations way too fast. Until he is proven guilty by the law, he should be recognized as the best baseball player in the world and he should be in the hall-of-fame and the all star game.

he should not only get more respect he should be in the hall of fame. the only reason the giants suck is because they wont let bonds play
