I had 2 Betas and 2 Sharks (not like great whites, tigers, ect.) and some others. No the others did not eat them they are not that kind of fish. The Betas and the Sharks vinished without a trace (I'm not kidding) and their is this clearish stuff in though out the whole tank. Now it was in my old small tank but it didn't do a thing and my beta lived longer than in the other one.Can anyone tell what did or might have happened or what they clearish stuff is?

The Betas were in at different times and they did not jump out I would have noticed.

Take apart the entire tank, go through all the decorations, the filter, the gravel, everything. Check the floor within 3 feet of the tank (fish can flop a long way). That is kind of strange. The white stuff might be fungus. By the way, you can't keep Sharks and Bettas together. The Sharks can be aggressive and will nip the Bettas' fins. Male Bettas are only aggressive towards male Bettas and other fish that look like male Bettas, so the Bettas are more likely to be picked on. That is really wierd. Do you have any pets? Birds, cats, weasles/ferrets? They might have gone fishing in your tank if that is at all possible...

Check all around the tank, on the floor, under the stand, etc. Also check the filter. I've had all sorts of fish before that have jumped out of the tank, jumped into the filter, etc.

When fish die, they decompose REALLY fast. if you didnt check the tank for a day or so they could have died and decomposed all together without you ever noticing.
were the beta's both male or female or one of each?
if they were both male, they probably killed eachother and the sharks.

I know when bettas jump out and dry out they totally change. They are not the same color and they shrink, so you may not have noticed, they look like a small stick.
Do you have a clever cat?

Beta's are fighting fish. They aren't supposed to be in there together. They probably killed eachother.

As for the sharks, I have no idea.
