Because Yahoo gives them points for answering, I think. Most of the time, I don't think it's worth the trouble to report them, unless it's something really offensive.

Smartassism is the cornerstone of p/s. It's the mean and ignorant people you have to look out for.

Yes, and I have done that when it was not my question. I've seen some pretty hurtful smartass answers.

I usually ignore them.... There are idiots every where unfortunately reporting them is not going to make them smarter.

i would... depending on the remark! for example this girl was asking about how to shave pubic hair and this guy asked for pictures of her umm ya know!!!! i was omg and i reported abuse!! it was freaking disgusting!!

hmmmmm good idea, I think people who answer a question with a smartazz answer is jealous of us here on P & S and should keep their comments to themselves specially since they do not allow people to email them to tell them off..sound familiar?
