Or the best? Or just average? You thoughts?

Will he? He already has!

My thoughts? He stinks.

EDIT: An afterthought on my part. He can't go down in history as the worst president, because his undertakings have nothing to do with being presidential. He COULD be historically remembered as the first American dictator..... a milestone for U.S. History and a stone weight around the neck of the U.S. Citizens.

Rasmussen Reports poll
Unfavorably-Viewed Presidents:

1. Richard Nixon (60% unfavorable)
2. George W. Bush – the current president (59% unfavorable)

Quinnipiac University poll
"Which of these eleven presidents we have had since World War II would you consider the worst president ?:

#1. George W. Bush (34%)
#2. Richard Nixon (17%)

Enough said.......................

Definitely not, I completely agree with him on the war (minus the WMD part, that was just bad intel). And quite frankly, there is no logical way that the economic crisis can be blamed single handedly on Bush like the Democrats are trying to make it appear. Have people forgotten that it is really the Senate and Congress who hold all the decision making power? And the fact that both the Senate and Congress both had Democrats as the majority? Not saying that it is the Democrats fault either, the blame deserves to be dished out evenly to all. I personally believe that he was indeed a good president.

Hmm, worst. Well, let's see. Lowered taxes, once again proving if citizens have more money the econmoey gets better. The DJIA is higher than it ever has been, unemployment is down to lowest numbers since the 1960's.

9/11 happened under his watch, but that was the culmination of the Clinton administration not doing anything remotely worthwhile about terrorism or Bin Laden, and doing the famous "cut and run" from any situation where things got a little tough, see Somalia. Except in Kosovo, because that distracted us from Monica.

Knows that the war on terror isn't just a bumper sticker slogan, as seen most recently by the unknown, but luckily foiled, terrorist attack in the UK.

Currently dealing with a whack job in N. Korea who has nuclear power because Clinton gave that country nuclear reactors after Jimmy Carter assured us Kim Jong Il was an okay guy. He is a dictator after all, and if you study your history Carter just loves ruthless dictators, who are communists at least.

His amnesty bill was the dumbest idea I ever heard of and I can't believe he tried to pass it. But luckily it got shot down in the house and senate. Which is about the only thing they've done all term other than try their best to prosecute people who've commited no crimes.

Not backing down on Iraq. The whole region hated us, other than Israel and Saudi Arabia. Although the Saudi's don't particularly love us either. Under the Bush administration we now have Afghanistan and Pakistan as allies. Iraq is not the "unjust war" people like to label it. It's a showdown between the us and radicals. And if we leave, it'll be just like the 70's where communism spread through Europe and Asia like a wildfire.

The cut and run philosphy of the left during Viet Nam also embolden radical Islam to fight us. Look at Iran. The Ayatollah knew Carter wouldn't retaliate against Iran when they took US citizens hostage. Creating the first radical Islam state in the Middle East and giving a blue print for other Middle Eastern nations to follow.

If we run away from Iraq and the middle east terrorists will continue to spread the mantra the USA is weak and radical Islam will spread more through that region.

No Bush is not the worst President in history. He is a solid leader. And if he had a "D" by his name every media outlet in this country would be singing his praises instead of dragging him through the mud.

Well, to be fair, James Buchanan is probably the worst president ever. He failed miserably in trying to avert the civil war....not a smooth move on his part.

George W. Bush is definetly in the top 10 worst president catergory, but I'd say 6 or 7 were worse than him historically.

No. Why should he? As most presidents, during war time, are disliked, even hated, when all the battles were won, or not won, as in Vietnam (the only war we are considered as having lost, although, we really quit instead, never claiming defeat, or surrendering).
To this day, no president, even Lyndon B. Johnson, who started the Vietnam war, in the majority of the people of America, are not disrespected, but loved by the populous of Americans. It seems every president must wait at least 10 years after they leave office, especially if they have led a war, to get the proper respect, some, but not all deserve. The thoughts of the People change, as time passes, when reality hits the new generations. I am sad however, that it takes a Liberal more years to mature, and accept the truth, than it does for a President's popularity to flourish.

I would say mediocre. There are many others that were far worse and a lot more ignorant. Bush has made mistakes and "foul" ups but he also had to deal with some extraordinary situations and I do applaud him on those matters.

Too soon to tell. History may change its mind many times before it comes to rest on an enduring judgment.

According to the Simpson's, Jimmy Carter is the worlds worst Monster and I concur. Bush is an above average prez who got bogged down in a guerrilla war. we should have just flattened Baghdad and let that be that but we are the always the nice guys and tried to build a workable nation out of a **** hole country. I give him an A for effort but D for execution.

Probably the most 'misrepresented' President in history - if the history books are honest about it.

Not the worst... Jimmy Carter holds that honor hands down... President Bush will most likely be scored as average... good on some things... not so much on others.
