It is a LG HBM-730 and my phone is a Motorolla Razor - Never had one before is there some sort of software required?

No software is necessary. All you need to do is pair it with your phone. Did you find the headset with the charger? If not you're going to have to buy one!. This article talks about the head set and also how to pair it.

If they are compatible, your Razor should be able to detect the headset. You should look in the user's manual on how to detect a bluetooth device...no software is required.

Amazon lists Bluetooth headsets on their web site and that i study that they paintings for the Sync off of Phonescoop. Jabra will paintings, I even have one and have used it with my pal's Sync.

You should be able to pair it with your RAZR, the password is usually 0000 for all Bluetooth headsets, and during the pairing process it will ask you for that password to complete the pair. I tried searching for a manual but did not have any luck. Hope it works out for you!
