By law a twelve year old cannot hold a standard job because as a minor they are not liable for actions and by law deemed unable to make most informed decision. That said you can help your neighbors wash windows, cut the lawn, rake, clean up dog poop, animal sit while someone is on vacation, wash the car, clean out the garage, vacuum the house, etc. You are not old enough to babysit yet though. When you approach a relative or neighbor to do one of the above "chores" make sure you set the price but not too high or they will not want to "pay" you.

It is hard when you are twelve. Perhaps if you ask one of your parents what chores around the house you can do for extra money.

ask everyone you know if they ahve a job that can give you, even if only for a few hours. If you go to church, that usually helps for such a young age. When I was twelve I had already had a paper route for a year adn I would do the odd jobs that I heard. I was always ready to work and you will have to be prepared to always finish the job. seek and ye shall find.. or something like that.

working in coal mines (you can slip into tiny areas that an adult can't), making shoes, clothes (specially if they are to be sold at a 400% profit), be a foot soldier for "general" so-and-so... oh wait, are you in the US?
Then I guess mow a lawn or baby-sit.

you can work with your dad/mom, like filing stuff (if he/she needs it), babysitting, dog walking, snow shovelling, leaf raking, just small jobs, but if you get a lot of them then you will definetly make a lot of money
