Judicial review of involuntary commitment orders now exist in all 50 states - you can petition for judicial review within 10 days after being committed in most states.

Now, if you are convicted of a crime due to a mental condition, you may never see the light of day until the staff say that you are no longer a danger to yourself or to others. However, Habeas Corpus can be served on a mental institution and they have to produce you for any hearings to determine competency and otherwise.

Hello.. im sorry you have to deal with depression and anxiety and stuff, no one deserves it, and i hope if you do go to the mental hospital you could get help. Have you tryed going to councillers with her, as they can advise you what to do with your mom, and also going to the doctors with her, so you can get help together. They may be able to also suggest good mental hospitals etc, i would really advise going with her to a doctor, but it is up to you. She should understand that it would be for the best, and if the doctor told her to, it may make her more confident. Because in the end your gunna become a better person. I hope you have a great day, and everything sorts out :] Good luck x

Yes there is and they are so sorry they ever let me go . To be honest there is and it is not always people who are full blown mental that go there . Some are sent or just go because they need help and then are released after it is over .
