The clinical strength kind has 20% aluminum zirconium something or another, that's the highest it goes. Just look on the backs of all the deodorants at the store and they list the percentage of this ingredient. Some are only 13% ! I just bought Almay (yeah, I thought it was weird they make deoderant too) because it's hypoallergenic, but it's got 20% aluminum whatever in it and it was only like $3, instead of $9 or however much the clinical strength kind is, and it's the SAME EXACT THING!

Doesn't it suck! In my experience, and I've tried them all, for regular deodorant Arrid XX Dry (not one X, but two) works the best. But you also might need to use Certain-Dri, which you can buy without a prescription at Wal-Mart for about $6. It is the most effective topical anti-perspirant that you buy to treat hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating). If you have the money you might look into Botox shots under your armpits, they work to paralyze the sweat glands temporarily. Good luck, luv!
FYI: Secret Clinical Strength is WAY overpriced and not nearly as effective as Certain-Dri.

First of all, everyone is different. What works for one, may not work for others. I personally have to switch very 3 months or so otherwise they stop working for me. cetain-Dri is an excellent anti-persperant. But basically, trial and error is your best bet. And keep switching every so often.
Good luck!

Oh, Im using arrid xx dry. Morning clean. No white residue either!

Without a prescription either Mitchum or Secret Clinical Strength.

However if its really bad, a doctor can give you a prescription.

Good luck :)
