When I was below 8, I was doing computer programming. Later on, I learned how to program with HTML. Give your kid a book on HTML. I'm sure the kids are old enough, and it will give them entrance into the world of computers.

By doing so, they aren't really on the Internet. They aren't viewing websites that might be bad. Also, they can view the websites they make on their computer without an Internet connection.

I`m sorry to say this is a sick world and it isn`t safe anywhere. The best to do is to educate them and over see them. good luck

try freewebs.com, its a great free provider, your kids don't need to know html or anything, it gives a www.freewebs.com/whatever the user name is. It's great for kids and does have premium services if you want it. Also, try bravenet.com, its a little harder though
