I am now 13 weeks and 4 days pregnant. During my 10th week, I felt the "flutters" (this is my first pregnancy) Every week they get stronger, and I now feel them every day. I told a friend this who is on her second pregnancy right now, and she says very rudley, "its probably just gas, its inpossible to feel the flutters this early" and laughed and made me feel like such an ***.( i was so upset) My question, has anyone else ever felt the flutters this early? believe me, i know what gas feels like lol lol lol and its not it!!!!!!

I felt flutters at 10 weeks with my second baby, 13 or so weeks with my first and 15 with my third. It sounds to me like your friend is a touch jealous. A lot of slender women feel movement earlier than heavier women or those who have a little extra padding there. You know what you felt :)

I am on baby number 5, and I was able to feel them around 12 weeks, and I had enough children to know what the differences between gas and flutters.

I was personally just on 18 weeks when I felt my first movement, but every pregnancy is different and how rude of your friend to react like that! Try not to let it get to you, people are often rude, and, I have found since being pregnant, often like to give unwanted advice:) The best piece of advice I've had is to smile and make a non-committal comment like "thank you, I hadn't considered that" then do what ever YOU think is right. You know your body better than anyone else.

i couldnt feel my first 2 until i was about 15 weeks but my 3rd i felt at ten weeks and it was little futters that got stronger. u know ur body better than anyone else and u know ur gas pains and u know where the flutters came from. my guess would deffinatly be that u are feeling the baby

i felt them at 15 weeks
but maybe u are having twins then u can feel them that early
10 weeks seems early if it isnt twins but 13 weeks its probably possible
i think u would know the difference between gas and a baby dont let that person talk to u like that my mom told me at 15 weeks i was crazy but i know what i felt i just told her i can feel my baby be quiet

with my first, not until month 4 or 5. i'm pregnant now (about 14 weeks) and i swear i've been feeling them for a couple of weeks. my doctor says it's kind of early, although this is the second time i'm pregnant so i kind of know what they feel like, and said it's more likely i'll feel them in another month or so... i'm kind of thinking now that maybe i'm not feeling it and maybe it is something like gas. but, i know what you mean when you say you know what gas feels like and you can swear up and down that this doesn't feel like that. and...when i feel it, it feels just like what i remember a baby moving around in there would feel like. then again, i thought i was feeling things like that after i gave birth to my last child and that was strange, it's like phantom kicks or something. maybe it is all mental. anyway, you'll for sure feel them around 4-5 months. you'll feel them at some point, don't worry.

i felt flutters at 15 weeks and people told me they doubted they were the baby....mom's intuition told me otherwise so i still believe that is what they were....don't let people make you second guess yourself...each pregnancy is SO different...everyone's body responds in a different way so if you feel like you felt flutters, you probably did and wasn't it the greatest feeling ever??? :)
