I told my friends when I realized I was bi because they had previously known me as being straight and there's sexual possibilities there.
Family, I haven't. Why? I just go on being myself and I think they know anyways, just from me being me. I don't feel I need to announce it because you don't see straight people going around announcing that they're straight, now do you?

Why upset your household and your friendships over something that you aren't certain about anyway? Your teen years are a time of self-discovery. That's natural and good. But nothing is set in stone yet. But things will become clearer to you a bit later on. Usually after high school when you're in college or in a job and starting to live more on your own. Do yourself a favor and wait until then to see how you feel at that time. That said, there are teenagers, and even children, who feel their sexual orientation very clearly. But as that isn't your situation, I'd wait.

You have no reason to make that known. This is a sexual preference. If you find yourself in love with a girl then it might be time. There is no reason to get yourself in the middle of possible trouble for sex. I am not the one for being in the closet but don't lay it all out unless necessary. You will know the right time for you I hope that your family and friends will stand by your side

I would suggest telling them only when you are sure if you ar bi. You're family might have a hard time accepting the fact but honesty is very important. Both to yourself and those that love you. To figure out whether you are bisexual or not see if you have an attraction for both guys and girls.

I don't see a reason to talk to your parents about this yet. Take some time to explore, to learn about yourself. Who are you attracted to? Men, women, both? Why? Put some conscious thought into it. Your thoughts about this may change and evolve over time.
You don't say how old you are, but much growth and self-knowledge comes once you move out of your parents' house, can make your own decisions, and can date who you want, when you want, with some privacy. And there's no need to to "define" your sexuality to others - unless you want to.

i dont think u should tel them to you fully know urself... theres a difference between being attracted to girls and wanting to sleep with them sooo if you have those feelings 4 ur female companions then yea maybe you are but theres not rush to tel people until your comfortable with it yourself.
