It all depends. If you wanna play football, then NEVER give up. If you don't want to play, then you will probably never be any good. You have to want it. Get in the weight room, run more, and eat healthy. Practice will make you better. Get some strength built up in them knees. This should also help you run faster. Practice extra on your tackling drills. You sound like you would make a great run stopper, or run blocker. Do not give up on your dreams. If you do, this will haunt you forever.

If you truly want to be a football player, play a position that could suit you. Maybe hit the weights often and work your legs and knees. Then you could just work on form for tackling and blocking. After which, you could proablly be the starting O-line or D-line. Your coaches are yelling at you becasue they want you to be worked and not have it easy. Do you think peyton manning is not hackled if he does not throw ever pass perfectly? Just stay with it, and fight through the pain.

Hm.
Duuuude, do what you really want most.
I played football all through middleschool. I was terrible but everyone was okay with that. I wasn't.
I really grew a liking to tennis, something other than football 24/7. I'm pretty good. Follow what you believe, don't believe in anyone else, mabe not even me, but yourself lol.

Do what you want most, even if it is football, you want to be there, be there and play your heart out. You will not regret it. You have hidden friends everywhere who care for you.
Even the ones who seem farthest from liking.

Just follow your dreams, you may even end up growing up to be pro at anything you want if you all bring yourself together once and for-ever.

no don't be gay and quit. all you need to do is jog more, hit the weights extra if possible, strech. And for sure when your home and bored, or sitting there watching tv do squats. Just your body weight focus on good form going down and explosiveness going up. The more you do that the better your stance will get, not to mention speed. And as far as tackling, read up on it, usually bad tackling is because of a weak upper body.

Quitting is for suckers. You should be the first one on the field and the last one to leave. Run everyday. Work on your stance. If your knees are weak, strengthen not only your core but your quads and hamstrings.. it will help your knees alot. My knees are shot from playing soccer, but as long as I maintain the strength in my legs and core (stomach) I can get more life out of them. Never give up.

Think of it this way, if you ever have any regrets in life, would quitting now and never knowing your full potential be one of them?

Life is too short, you're too young not to take chances!

Do what you feel is best. I personally quit football, and there isn't a day that goes by I don't regret that decision. I quit due to injury. However, I thoroughly enjoyed football and I was good at it. If you don't like it, I would try to stick it through one more year and see what you can do. Playing in games is a lot more fun than practicing, and winning games is even more fun. Give it a chance before you quit, but if it isn't fun, it's just a game. It is meant to be fun, and if you aren't having fun, it isn't for you.

Kid, at your size the coach is looking at you to be on his line for the next 3 years! He is pushing you to strengthen up. Because if you can become what he sees in you, you'll be great! It will be a lot of work but the rewards are there for the taking. Or you can give up and always wonder, "What if?"

I just graduated and I played footballl throughout highschool the coach told me this "If we yell at you it means that we think you can do better, and to keep trying, if we stop then you have a problem. It means we have given up on you" to help your knees start doing squats they help the most and hit the weight room but its really your choice.
