the best source for this info is the service manual. Manuals for these old tractors are readily available.. try :

The torque spec's are as follows for connecting rod caps::
small block 305-400 cubic inch V-8's: 45 foot pounds
big block 396-454 cubic inch V-8's: 50 foot pounds
inline 6 cylinder 230-250 cubic inch: 35 foot pounds
inline 6 cylinder 292 cubic inch: 40 foot pounds
These are gasoline engine spec's. Diesel would be different.
