Take a color picture of yourself
Open it with Photoshop or PaintShop Pro (the 2 best)
Open a second copy of the Picture
One the first copy UNDER Colors Menu option
reduce to 2 colors for real B+W
or my fav 256 shades of Grey for more detail
Paintshop Pro has a convert to B+W and it chooses
the method best based on source photo
On the second Copy you need the HUE adjustment
dont worry about the whole pix adjust until your
eyes are the desired color.
Now picture 1 has to be the same type as picture 2
So save it as a jpeg and reload it then Choose
to increase color range back to top limit
Use the clone brush to transfer the new colored eyes
into the original (now (B+W) ) picture
High ZOOM will help and small brush size will help
make sure the DENSITY is at 100%

If you have Photoshop (you can get the trial at Adobe.com) there is a technique you can use to just get a singe color in a picutre.
1- Open image
2- Do an Auto-Levels, and Auto-Color (not necissary, but recomended)
3- Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Hue/Saturation
4- Drag the "Saturation" slider to -100, click OK (you should have a B/W image now)
5- Hide the Hue/Saturation layer by click the "eye" next to it.
6- Select the origonal image layer by clicking it in the layers palette.
7- Select>Color Range
8- Choose the color you want, click OK
9- Unhide and select the Hue/Saturation Layer
10- Edit>Fill, choose Black
11- Presto, a Selective Color Image!

Photoshop/GIMP/other programs?:
Use the pen tool to select your eyes, and then do path to selection. This is done by a bbutton at the bottom of the palette, ususally.
Invert the secetion(Ctrl+I in GIMP, found under "selection" in Photoshop) and then desaturate. Everything should be in b/w except for your eyes.
Invert again.
Use hue/saturation (Ctrl+U in Photoshop) and drag hue until you have your eyes at a shade you like.
Voila.

I used Microsoft Digital Editor but any digital editing software on your computer should work. You can probably just use paint.
On mine I used the tint brush and did a very bright purple. You want to zoom in very close to the eye so you only color in the correct part of it.
If using paint, zoom in and use the air brush tool but make sure you don't use a brush that too big.
