lets face the facts here. people dont instantly judge by personality. its not like u walk into a room and people go "nice brain!". first impressions are based upon the way u look and act. and whether u like it or not, first impressions do mean something. for instance if u apply for a job as a social worker, and u go in missing a couple teeth w/ your hair all messed up, the employer is going to get a bad impression of you, even if you actually are good at working w/ people. should people judge purely by personality? probably they should, but thats not the way humans are made. we tend to look at the outside, and then if we like what we see, we look at the personality. although some people do have amazing personalities that are actually reflected in their appearance. but still, we need to face the fact that in today's society, people are judged by the way they look.
though really, people should realize that outer beauty will fade over time, and that what really matters is on the inside.

Personality even though looks don't hurt cause when you get old with a person they aren't gonna look the same. When you're eighty and looking at some prune who has no teeth and smells of bengay and some form of body splash you will be grateful you chose them for they think and say and not because they looked good!
