to a degree, yes, but hatred is a much stronger word.
you know you're not being wrong, you didn't say you hated the person. i liked how one person said that he believes the "love one another" is like in a family, you may not like what someone does but it doesn't mean you "hate" them.
don't worry so much, i know it's hard sometimes. but, you're a good person and you should realize that!

I would say that dislike is a degree of hatred. You can dislike their actions, but you should have love for all people.

They are similar, but they are intrinsically different... You can not help not liking someone, It's linked to emotions... But hate (denoting hostile actions motivated by intense dislike or prejudice) is an action. You can't control your emotions, just your actions...
