I heard that due to the radio programs, America listened, and
rose up in protest to Bush and the senators. Now the Dem.
Senators have told Bush, they will not support him in any endeavor, and especially the war in Iraq, and the Immigration
policy he's tried to shove down everyones' t hroats. They are
desperate to keep their jobs, that have been threatened. But
we still know they are prone to fishtailing. Do we want to see
that again? I feel as a former member of the Silent Majority, I
don't and never will be silent again.

No. Conservative Talk Radio only speak the truth to what is really happening in our Government and leaders. The Demos were never in agreement with Bush in the war in Iraq from the beginning, but they want to force the Immigration Bill down American's throats by breaking their own laws of this country. That I don't agree with.

What the liberals like Pelosi, Hilary, Feinstein, etc... do want is to silence Talk Radio because Conservative Talk Radio only speak the truth and Talk Radio like Rush, Hannidy, Savage, Levin, only want the American people to NOT be silent and stand up to what is right for our country. Is Immigration reform bill right for our country? That's what Talk Radio speaks against and majority of Talk Radio hosts support the Iraqi war, they support our American Troops.

So, I don't think Talk Radio will ever leave our country, because us Americans will not let this happen and we will not let these lawlessness people bring America down! We should never, ever remain silent!

Well..the GWB crony club administration is still in power, so it hasn't fallen completely.
The now Unsilent Majority must continue to speak up and speak out or the next administration could feel free to do the same.
Talk radio was a minuscule influence on my opposition to the immigration bill. The greatest influence was READING the bill and being appalled by it.
However, the media in all forms needs to expose the powerplays and divisions in our government, especially when the issue in play is not the best of interest of American citizens.
Bush's policies have placed him between the proverbial rock and hard place.

A star for your last sentence, Shari, I totally agree.

Ricktoff, do you mean the Left has shown ANY proof or workable solution to anything. At best their solution is not Bush. If the Left & the Press are truly the ones with the superior intellect why don't they offer a thought out solution complete with their analysis of the probable out come from each step.

I'm not saying Bush is great. I've offered my solution to the Energy Crisis where believe it or not using more energy might be the solution to changing the economics of Renewable Energy. I've offered it to both sides of the Allie with neither side even doing any more than patting themselves on the back for doing EXACTLY what I told them will not change the economics of Renewable Energy.

I think Conservative Talk Radio played a big part in the defeat of the immigration bill.

That's a far cry from "the fall of the Bush Administration." It was a defeat on a single issue, nothing more.

However for the most part, Conservative Talk Radio still supports Bush in the war.

Since most talk radio supports Bush, I doubt if that's true. I think the fall of the Bush Administration falls pretty squarely on Bush.

Let's see... to my knowledge it was the combination of talk radio, TV, and Internet superhighway. We don't need to be in the dark any more with the avenues we have to inform ourselves on the issues, and who is Un-American or Anti-American in the political arena. Public or behind closed doors they cannot hide anymore.

We here have communicated rather successfully on how we feel about the traitors to this country. What should be done about them, and where they should go if they don't like it. So will I continue to speak up on issues important to me, Americans, and America. Absolutely yes!

I blame Talk radio for the fall of many things; average IQ not being the least of them. However, the fall of the Bush Administration is their own doing.

Just because I did not support the President in the Amnesty deal it does not mean I have fallen off on my support for the war on terror or the war in Iraq.

The Bush Admin may be unpopular and have it's faults, but I can assure you the alternative is far less popular among mainstream American voters.
