I live in an apartment and I have an AC but it only reaches the living room. My room gets horribly hot and I was wondering if there were anyways to cool down my room. I have a fan, it works alright but its still very hot.

Aside from putting a a.c. window unit in your bedroom, you could get a floor fan and direct the cool air from the other part of the house into the bedroom.

Keep blinds and curtains closed. Use floor fan to pull AC air from that part of the apartment into your room.

I put cardboard or foil on the windows to keep the room dark. In the evening when it cools down open to window to circulate the air. You can even use dark curtains.

Put your fan in the hall so it blows the air toward your room. This isn't rocket science.

Well, you could plant you some trees outside next to your room, some fast growing trees like poplar trees, oak trees etc!
You may have to wait a few years, but they'll eventually get you some shade!

a window fan that will pull the air out of your room and replace it with the ac'ed air.

if you room faces south, pull down all the shades. keep your room as dark as possible.

please use a pedestal / floor fan to direct air towards your bed room.
