Short answer: No.

Intel and AMD are competing companies that make processors for computers and, therefore, the form factors for the slots that the processors go into on a motherboard are different.

In order to go from an AMD processor to an Intel you would need to get a motherboard that supports the respective Intel processor you want. In the case above, you'd want a motherboard with an "Intel 775" slot.

Core 2 DUO, is not something you can install, it is the name of Intel CPU's.

If you want Core 2 Duo, you will need to replace your CPU (AMD Athlon 3800+). Moe than likely you may also need to replace your motherboard, as I do not believe AMD and Intel chips can be used on the same board anymore.

you can't install an intel chip on an AMD motherboard. Two different types of sockets.

no ur mobo is for amd chips not intel. u would need to get a new mobo or a whole new computer. by the specs u should get a new computer.
