Superb question though a bit tricky! Rory has never been knighted as he is a peer by birth. His correct title is Rory, Earl of Sligo. His title is ancient and the family home is a monument to good taste and careful restoration as is Rory himself!

I believe that Rory Emerald is a fictional character and could never be knighted by the Queen.
