Well, there is a chemical reaction in your mouth when the sugar and other ingredients hit your taste buds. Also, your brain receives nerve signals from you glands in your mouth, and send messages back to make you salivate, and your eyes see the delicious thing, which make you want to eat it even more, and your nose smells the delicious scent, which makes you even more want to eat it. Then, once you have finally put the amazing thing into your watery, mouth, you realize that, no, chocolate really isn't that good. Until it starts popping, and hitting the roof of your mouth, and.....no......wait......thats pop rocks.
Nope, cant explain why chocolate tastes so good.

well chocolate all ways taste good.everyone loves chocolate and beside when something bad happen like a girl just broke up with her boyfriend what do they do stuff there face with chocolate and sometimes it does work and chocolate allways gives a best test to evry thing sweet like they said in the movie john tucker must die "chocolate can evn heal a broken heart"

I've heard that the chemicals in cocoa stimulate the release of endorphins (spelling?) in your brain, making you feel happy...even giddy. I'd have to do more research to know for sure, but that sounds plausible to me.
