I have had to create a new account as yahoo have completely removed my account. They have deactivated my e-mail address (with no warning!) and my old profile is no longer available on yahoo question and answers.
I have absolutely no idea what I have done wrong, I e-mailed them from another e-mail address but they refuse to reply.
Has this happened to anyone else because I used that e-mail address for work contatcs and have no idea why they have just decided to remove me.
My question is has this happened to anyone else and is this normal that yahoo have done this?

Thanks for answers, I would be happier if I knew what I did wrong, I just got no warning and I've lost my e-mail address with no explanation what so ever?!

I would never say anything racist, I'm of mixed ethnicity myself and am aware of some of the racist posters on here. I'm not judgemental about any particular group & I haven't said anything nasty, I just find it strange for them to completely removed me with no warning or even telling me why.

Check with the YA guidelines - you must have violated one or more of them. Maybe you said something racist or offensive to someone or some group, like a specific ethnic group or nationality or religion. Or something that people under 18 aren't supposed to be seeing. Maybe it meant something else to you, and had more than one possible interpretation. Or maybe what you say around your friends is so ingrained that you've forgotten how another crowd might respond to it. Without knowing what you wrote, it's impossible to say for sure how it violated the guidelines.

i m sure sometimes Yahoo delete your Q without any reason and they wont answer you why too. What you could do is to hide your Q and A and network to outsiders. Be careful when allowing others to be in your contact cos it work both ways. I have some trolls following me and another YA user and stalked us and i guess he managed to stalk me and "this other user" through "this other user"s contacts. I could report him but he will create another account again! Good luck to you cos sometimes you just dont know when you would meet a psycho online during answering that could cause you so much trouble in the end!

its not fair they should at least give you a warning and let you know what you did wrong
to take your e mail is wrong when it is your work contact
i see some names on here who are offensive yet they stay ?
