I love the musical 1776! It's about John Adams and the difficult birthing of the Declaration of Independence. I have a tape of the original Broadway cast. They used to broadcast the movie every year at this time. Unfortunately, I don't own a copy of the film--yet.

Have you seen the movie or the play? What's your opinion?

YES! That movie is genuinely hilarious! In the fifth grade, my teacher showed it to us about 8 times. My friends and I joke about it often.

Mr. Adams, Dear Mr. Adams
I'm obnoxious and disliked you know that sir
yes I do
for If I'm the one to do it,
THEY'LL RUN THEIR QUILL PENS THROUGH IT!

Haha :] funny movie! it really helped me learn about it, too. It was also novel for me as a fifth grader (which is common these days, but wasn't then) to hear the words "Damn" and "Hell".
