there's no way to rush it. Just be patient. Try ibuprofen and light exercise for the cramps.

There is not anything you can do to "make " your period come. Is it due now? If not, perhaps these are not menstrual cramps. If it is, just grin and bear it because it will happen when your body is ready. Try something over the counter for relief of the discomfort of the cramping. If it doesn't get better soon, see your doctor.

You didn't mention your age or if this has occurred before. I'm in perimenopause, and sometimes I have cramps for months before I have a period because my periods are sometimes 3 or 4 months apart. If you're in your late 30's or in your 40's....then this is one possibility. If you think this might be it, you need to see your dr. There are blood tests/hormone tests that can determine if this is what's going on.

Unfortunately it will just happen when it happens. There isn't anything you can do about it.
Doing a bit of gentle excercise can help with the cramps - go take a walk

There is little you can do to bring on your period, but there are things you can do to ease this time for you.
PMS - Pre-Menstral Syndrome, and the symptoms associated with it can be eased somewhat. Ask your pharmasist for a recommendation. Promensal is one I know of, and some swear that Evening Primrose Oil eases them significantly.
