I have an ATI Radeon 9250/9200 series with 128MB of video Ram. My computer has 2GB of RAM and a 3GHz processor. On my system info it says: "RADEON 9000U Family (Microsoft Corporation - XDDM)

Okay, Aero requires Direct X9 with Pixel Shader 3.0 to work properly.

The first of the Radeon series to do this was the 9550 while the 9250 is Direct X 8.1 Result it will NOT run Aero. The 2GB of ram is great for vista. The 3Ghz processor is fine for Vista. The video card just won't cut it, sorry.

Yes i have a lesser video card and i am running vista with the aero interface.

yes u can, its not good, but it will run aero. don't upgrade to vista. u will have so many problems find drivers for hardware that does not have vista support.
