Hmm... Windows Movie Maker only saves in one format. I've uploaded WMM files to YouTube, all the time. You can download WMM at: http://www.investmental.com/free

You probably need to save the file. The editing file, is only a map, not a valid Video Format. Click on "Save Movie To Computer", on the left. If your hard drive is full, you will need to clear some space.

You tube's default type of file is a Flash Player file.
Maybe try to find a Flash Video Editor.
Is your file, smaller than 100MB?

the great thing about youtube is that it takes a bunch of diffrent formats. u need to export the movie in MM in order for youtube to recognize it.

open ur project in MM > file>save movie file>next>name ur movie and choose a place 2 save it>chhose other setting>pick dv-avi from drop down box>press next.

it will convert it and upload it 2 youtube and it should have no problems.

the guy above me is just a spammer

Highlight all your imported items than hit save movie file and go through that process and it will save as a different file type
