None. The only way a precipitation reaction will occur is if one of the opposite combination of cations and anions is insoluble... in this case, if either NiCl2 or KNO3 is insoluble. Since both of these salts are insoluble, you will see no reaction.

both compounds are soluble thus u consider each pair of ions in solution

all nitrates are soluble thus NO3- will not ppt with either Ni or K

the question now is NiCl, whether it forms a ppt or not and this depends on the ksp (solubility product) value and the concentrations of each ion...

Look at the Ksp in a book.....the competitive equilibriums depend on them......

I think both new salts will be soluble

KNO3 and NiCl2
