I right now got a video card ATI Radeon Express 300 that uses up to 128 MB of RAM as its video memory so i decided that maybe ill get a GeForce 7300 GS that has 258MB video memory, is that too little?

128Mb is now usually the minimum required. 256Mb is just about right and 512Mb is useful for heavy gaming but not always.
BUT take note that gaming performance is a lot more dependent on:
1. GPU architecture - more shaders or stream processors, the better.
2. Core clock speed - higher is beter
3. Videoram speed - higher is better. 256Mb ddr3 beats 512Mb ddr2.

256 is perfect. i got this card. it is the latest DX10 card which means it is compatible with the next generation of graphics coming out for video games. it is also a reasonable price. that other guys card is 512mb. unnecessary, unless you are a graphics editor. i got this one and am very satisfied with my computer gaming. and EVGA offers lifetime warranty and the they have a step-up program which means if it isnt enough power for u, u can upgrade to the 512mb model they have with in 90 days for no additional charge expect the price diffrence. good luck and have fun.

It is way too little, unless you only plan to take a few quality shots. for a rough estamate divide your memory card by the camera's mega pixil rate,
ie: 256k memory divided by10 MEGA PIXIL about 25 pics

Depends on what you need it for. For gaming it's better to have at least 512.
