You can go to your local craft shop and purchase all your needs for both crafts there. I started with the soaps first by using glycerine soap base one with avocado oil for those with extra dry skin. You can also get oatmeal and place it in a blender and blend till its fine and add it to the base when its melted, also good for dry skin. For fragrance I like to use essential oils which are pure and not synthetic. Those you can purchase at a health store or online. When looking for them sometimes they will also be called Neat Oil. You can blend them to create your own scents. You can also create your own bath salts :
3 Parts Epsom Salts
2 Parts Baking Soda
1 Part Borax
This is the base. To this you add food coloring then your fragrance. Good luck, I did make money for my Church one year selling the Salts and some soaps! I forgot! No more that 6 drops per 1/2 cup salts.
