Convenient excuse. Exhibit A: Isiah Washington. Exhibit B: Vivica Fox (I still like her though, love her acting).

Because most of the time when a black person get in trouble its has something to do with race.... for example when a person is pulled over for speeding they most likely are black and if it was a white person they wouldnt even say nothing. But they would give the black person a ticket and let the white person go. But more than likely some people always get the racist end and some people dont.

racist question , maybe to some, it's just a stereotype that seems to be true sometimes. i worked with a black man and every time he got into trouble he claimed it was because he was black not to the fact that sometimes he just didn't do his job. Not to mention the fact that sometimes he was getting into trouble by another black man or woman higher up on the chain. But when those incidents happened he would blame it on the fact that their bosses are white. It amazed me every time that race was such an issue with him. It wasn't the cause of anything. Just an easy effect to claim.

That is NOT a totally true statement....All black people do NOT play the racist card when they get into trouble... SOME do, most DO NOT.....Oh and SOME white people are no prize EITHER....but not all blacks are bad ---most are fine obstanding people who just want to go about their business just like MOST white people---thing is, there are always a few bad apples in BOTH races who spoil it for everyone else.....

Most people.... white, black or otherwise have no personal accountability (i.e. it's always someone else fault and things just happen to me). The race card is just another way to transfer blame and responsibility.

Why does anyone of any race play the race card when there is trouble? If it's too late for "I didn't do it", then the next best thing is "It's someone else's fault"

thats a ridiculous question, i don't frequent this section but i saw that question and thought nah i'm not letting him get away with this. i'm black, i've got black mates, i've got a black family and i've never seen the race card used once in my 17 years on this earth, it's a ridiculous thing to say, its a stereotype enhanced by the media who pick out when it happens, but when it does you've got to remember there are plenty of times it doesn't. thats like saying something like "why are all white people racist?" it's not all, its a small minority who give the rest a bad name

the statement is so untrue... Be serious...while we are asking questions----why do WHITE people always commit suicide, why are they always depressed and stressed, why when sumthing comes up missing they believe its a black person who stole it, how come white people are always on stupid azz drugs like myth, speed and water, how come white people can never control their children while in public, why is it that white people make JUDGMENTS such as the one you just did...?

Culture, they really don't know any better. I wrote an article for my college paper and got involved in a local trial of a young black man. I was totally stunned that the only defense he could come up with was the he was being singled out for being black. The cops were black, the judge was black, 9 of the jurors were black. Yet his family and defense claimed race was the issue. Oh, yeah, he was on trial for raping and killing a black woman.... his baby's momma!!!
