Help On Organizing a Research Paper?

I'm writing a paper on Narcolepsy for my psych class. However, I've never written one and would like some guidance about what topics to write on..... Should it be more like... narcolepsy is this... symptoms are this... causes are this.... treament is this.... or should it be more .... this is how narcolepsy can affect someones life... the research being done is this... I have a alot of information, but I don't know where to put it or what to put in.
