It's beyond embarrassing to have our PRESIDENT saying NUCULAR!!!
Every time I hear him do that, I just want to dope smack him.
Doesn't he have a speech coach or something?

Actually, it says a lot about who he is.
He knows it's wrong. People have told him it's wrong. They have told him the right way. He just doesn't care that it's wrong.
Reminds me of how he does a lot of things.

I agree, it is very annoying and embarrassing. I have lived in west Texas and yes, people do have southern accents but 99% of the population can properly say NUCLEAR.
It is most likely his stubbornness to not correct his pronunciation after he has said it wrong several times in the past.

Does it REALLY matter of it"s a tomAYto or a tomAHto on your pizza ? Do you fret everytime you eat spagetti over whether the chef uses your pronounciation ??

Nothing is worse than an inarticulate leader. We're dealing with the uneducated masses, so most of them think he speaks just fine, or that it doesn't mater. Oh well...
