I know how much they prefer dependency. Dependency on the government, dependency on the government and dependency on other people’s money.

dependency on drugs, depency on my money. I pay rent I can't afford because of other peoples rent control.

You really do not understand America at all do you?
The glory of America is that we have all sacrificed: Liberal and Conservatives. The Fields of poppies in the Veterans Graveyards do not ask party affiliation.
The blood that flowed at Concord and Lexington that Stained the snow of Valley Forge, that joined Pirate and Slave and freeman in New Orleans, that pitted brother against bother at Gettysburg, that remembered the Alamo, the Maine, Pearl Harbor and 9-11, that flowed like a river at Iwo Jima and stained the ground of Saigon, that today bleeds for us in Iraq and Afghanistan does not know party. Patriotism is both red and blue and white and black and man and woman.
You have no clue what America means or why that Star Spangled Banner Waves, if you think that love of country is the same as love of party.
You are a fraud and no American.
America is the ideal that ALL MEN are created equal. That We the people make our government, our land, our nation and that we all Pledge with our Sacred Honor to preserve her and protect her and defend her
Go away you cowardly fraud. It does not surprise me at all that you do not allow email comments. You will note that our founding fathers did not hide when they signed the Declaration of Independence. Yes, we celebrate this great land's independence.
We celebrate the freedom of choice, speech and all other things that come with it. We mourn those who lost their lives so we could be free and we will pray for those who cannot spend the 4th with their families because they are out there still fighting for those freedoms.
I would hope that conservatives will be doing the same and not spreading hate about another political party just because we don't see eye to eye on all things.
Lets try to Unite on at least one front please.

Funny you should mention dependency on the government since huge corporations received 92 BILLION in Corporate Welfare in fiscal year 2006 alone. Not to mention that Bush's tax cuts favored the RICHEST 1% of the country. And those who make their income off of investments in stocks and dividends pay next to nothing in taxes on that income. DEPENDENT?!!? It's a synonym for Republican.

Well, we all know that you live in your mommy's basement, so you shouldn't talk about not living off other people's money until you are ready to do so yourself.
But i love celebrating independence day. And I long for the day that we are all independent again from our second king George. BTW, when are corporations going to stop being dependent on George's huge tax give aways and subsidies that he keeps giving them? When are they going to stop finding places to hide their profits and pay their fair share of taxes instead of dodging them all the time?

do not burn flags - did burn lots of the beef on the bbq final 365 days. do not throw eggs at veterans. would be having some beers with some nonetheless. do not hate usa - purely choose for it to be the superb usa it rather is - meaning acknowledging its shortcomings as properly as its greatness and then working to beat those shortcomings.
