Apparently someone booted my webcam, yahoo works fine otherwise, except now it doesn't recognize any cam. How do I fix this?

* Run Ccleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com) to remove any trace of your web cam's original software.

* Reinstall the driver.

* If these don't work, try a different USB port. If you're on a laptop, use a powered USB hub to ensure the web cam is getting enough power.

* What is the name of your web cam? Search google for issues people have been having with your same web cam.

Good luck, you can get it going!

Hi. Do not know what you mean by 'booted' but any webcam will need to be plugged in and have drivers installed. Check for both. Get the drivers from the manufactures website or the original CD.
