The attacks over the weekend in London are a frightening reminder that terrorism still exists and that fanatics bent on destroying us and our allies are still out there.

Wow... great question.
We're fighting an ideology.
It's not easy to defeat an idea. Radicals are scary. They don't care if they die.
Disregard the disillusioned and deluded who tell you there IS no war or that we are the cause... some people would rather spout crap than research their answers.
The FIRST thing we need to do is secure the borders and limit the ability of terrorists to gain access to the nation.
NEXT would be the education of the American people on the nature of this war. These people cannot be reasoned with. The Minutemen on Flight 93 knew that. We have to be all willing to defend our nation at a moment's notice from those who would kill the innocent for their radical religious beliefs.

Wouldn't hurt if we'd remove from any public office those who are so ignorant to the reality of things that they call this very real war a "bumper sticker slogan" or who believe in a tactic of surrender....

I found it interesting that when the muslim population was questioned about Lebannon sending in Katuza rockets into Isreal their reaction was "well, we are not sending in as many as before."
So to them a cut back in the destruction is all that is necessary. In the Fresno Bee a California newspaper.
A muslim cleric when questioned about the terriorists and the amount of soldiers killed in Iraq trying to defend the Iraq muslims from each other. How did they feel about all the deaths so far. The muslim cleric was highly indignant and said "There has not been so many die, more than that were killed on California high ways."
We are use to losing men to death, it is the door way to a better life. It may be the only hope these men have to die for Allah protecting muslims. The lives lost are not important.
Unless the men who die are Sunni muslims, then Allah is grieved. But they go to a better place than this earth.
Your men should die bravely. Perhaps then Allah will forgive them for being infidels. Perhaps they may even avoid hell.
When asked by the reporter: "Then you do think that all Americans are condemed to hell unless they die protecting Sunni muslims? His reply:

"As you say, to be honest? I see no way that an American can avoid hell in the future, I was trying to be nice about it.
Wether he dies to protect Sunni muslims or not. Infidels will not go to heaven."

Continue the fight and don't give up at the first sign of body bags. This is war that will take years to finish and our efforts from the 70's till 2001 showed the terrorists we always had a point where we would back down rather than chase the terrorists.

Continue to make the case to the nations of the world that terrorism is an immoral and self defeating form of expression.

We need to track their finances, sleeper cells, tourists and students who overstay their visas, target governments who harbor and support al-Qaida and related organizations. Encourage democratic and religious freedom in the moderate Muslim countries, assist with economic development in exchange for their assistance. Be prepared to go anywhere anytime to strike back at them. Work with Muslims in the west to fight discrimination and gain their help in turning in radicals.
