does kids count as the nicest gifts? if so then I have to say that i gave 3 of the nicest gifts to my partner, he became a daddy at the age of 24. other than that, I gave him a new computer when his old one died.

We once gave someone a very expensive waterbed bookshelf frame with a custom made standard mattress. He was almost in tears when he received it. He was "in need" for one reason or another; I do not recall the details.

One year I made everyone in our families FAMILY WREATHS. I hand made them to match each family's interior with cloth and ribbons, then I handpainted wooden hearts with each family member's name and attached them to the wreaths. Each family wreath was different in theme and color. We presented them at Christmas and they were a huge hit!

I gave my daughter a car. She totally was in need and it was totally unexpected. I just handed her the keys and said it's yours now and walked off. She was totally surprized and stunned!
