Lindsay Lohan: the Bathsheba of the modern times?

Bathsheba was a beautiful attractive woman of the biblical (ancient) times. She wore no clothes, she was naked at the tub. Although she was married to Uriah, King David was obsessed with that young women Bathsheba, he stalked her and he had an adulterous affair (sex) with her. She's so seductive! Bathsheba was probably in her late teens, but we don't know.

Now, fast-forward to modern times (21st century) many male fans are obsessed with Lindsay Lohan especially younger fans and they have fantasies about meeting her and making love with her. The actress is beautiful, is seductive, and rich. Now thousands of fans wanted to stalk her. How does Bathsheba and Lindsay Lohan compared to each other?

King David was rich but he has vices: adultery, murder, drunkeness and lying. He is also envious.

David and Bathsheba are also celebrities back then.

Now, is Lindsay Lohan the Bathsheba of the modern times?

No. It's likely that Bathsheba was in fact a "holy prostitute" of the local mother goddess religion at that time, whose role in history has been twisted into almost unrecognizability through time and the views of the people editing the Bible. "Holy prostitues" were in fact priestesses, people viewed in great esteem at that time as conduits of the divine fertility goddess, who they worshiped by performing the specific act of fertility. In any case, however you look at those priestesses, you cannot deny that most of them were mature adults, people of inner faith and character, and were able to run their temple facility well. Present-day pop idols like Lindsey Lohan and Paris Hilton have none of those traits, and in fact if all of their money was suddenly taken away from them probably would be incompetent to the point where they'd able to hold down a job flipping burgers or filling gas.

So Bathsheba and Lindsey Lohan are nothing alike.

First of all, bathing naked, even in those times, not a sign of being seductive.

Second, King David was a little bit of the creep in this story. He watched her in the way a peeping Tom would watch a woman bathe. It's not as if she was in an unusual place doing an unusual thing. It was David who arranged for the murder of Uriah.

However, David and Bathsheba apparently had some redeeming qualities: of all of David's wives, it was she who gave birth to the son through whose lineage Jesus Christ would be born. He was also, in some ways, a "favorite" king. He was blessed with pretty much everything, because he was smart enough to only ask for wisdom. He was allowed to build the Temple of God, a temple people to this day talk about the beauty of (and mourn what happened to it).

In my opinion, Lindsay Lohan is just your typical spoiled brat tramp. If I had to compare her to someone in Old Testament times, I would have to go with, maybe, Lot's wife. She supposedly wants to escape her demons, but she just can't stop herself from turning back.

This is a really weird question. Bath-Sheba, was performing a purification ritual. She was allowed to be naked and was praying as she immersed herself in holy water. The King David should have been in battle with the rest of his men, but instead was spying on a woman performing a religious duty. He was an irresponsible, pervert. Lindsay Lohan is a twenty year old alcoholic spoiled brat. There is no comparison whatsoever.

Since Lindsay Lohan is not married but has many boyfriends, she's always not available to be her lover or even marry her. But Bathsheba was married, she was not available to any men.

Yeah, It's like one soldier becomes CIA/NSA agent who is a Lohan fanatic who communicated and insulted the military, the DoD and then asking them to drafting one or more of Lohan's boys to Iraq. Then the soldier might go either to New York or LA to get nearer to her and have an affair (bang) with her (in the nightclub/the rehab/mansion) while her boyfriends are fighting in Iraq. He (soldier) might impregnate her.

No. Lindsay Lohan actually accomplished her success and earned her fortune through talent, not through seducing a much older rich and powerful man with her looks. Lohan has not had a husband or (to my knowledge) anybody else killed to advance herself.

Anna Nicole Smith, a talentless buxom beauty who danced in a topless bar to get the attention of an old billionaire, comes a lot closer to Bathsheba. (Also like Bathsheba, her firstborn child died- and since he died of a drug overdose and drugs were something he learned from her and her friends, it could be argued he "died because of her sins" like Bathsheba's firstborn.) There again, though, nobody died.

So there's not really a Bathsheba of today I don't suppose.

I hate E!. they say they are sick of here but they dont go 3 hours without one of their shows mentioning her or her being in a commercial or celebrity news update. As for her, I don't wish death to her, but I am sick of her.
